Degree in Psychology with Honors Program at the University of Deusto (2010-2014). She made an Erasmus stay of one academic year at the National University of Ireland, Galway (2012-2013) where she studied subjects related to neuroimaging and neuropsychology. She is an expert in neuropsychology at the University of Deusto (2015). She studied the official Master in General Health Psychology at the University of Deusto (2015-2017). Currently, she is PhD student getting the training grant research staff (FPI) from the Basque Government. She has a backgorund of three years of research experience with the team being formed in neuropsychology assessment tools, rehabilitation and neuroimaging.
The lines of her thesis focus on identifying biomarkers with magnetic resonance neuroimaging related to functional and structural brain connectivity that are associated with the development of cognitive impairment and dementia in patients with idiopathic Parkinson’s disease and genetic origin. She has carried out a doctoral stay at the Fenstein Institute for Medical Research, Center for Neurosciences in New York under the supervision of Dr. David Eidelberg dealing with neuroimaging techniques in Parkinson’s disease.
She has been teaching since 2015 at the University of Deusto on an occasional basis, and since 2017 she has been a research teaching professor (PDI) at the same university teaching the subjects “Basic Psychological Processes I” and “Jokabidearen Oinarri Biologikoak III” in the Degree in Psychology at the University of Deusto and “Oinarrizko Psikologia” in the Double Degree in Education and Social Work. Tutor of the internship and supervisor of End of Degree Works (TFG) in the Neuropsychology area of the Degree in Psychology at the University of Deusto. Co-director of the End od Master Works (TFM) in the Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology and Master’s Degree in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Deusto. Coordinator and Lecturer of the Official Master’s Degree in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Deusto.
