Graduated in Psychology and post-graduated in General Health Psychology from the University of Deusto (UD). Currently, she is developing her doctoral thesis in the “Neuropsychology of Severe Medical Conditions” research team at the UD, in which she has been collaborating since 2011. Her doctoral thesis project is focused on the study of cognitive as well as functional and structural cerebral changes associated with cognitive rehabilitation in multiple sclerosis. As part of her research training, she has made a pre-doctoral stay in the “Neuroimaging Research Unit” at the San Raffaele Hospital (Milano, Italy). In addition, she is a professor in the Faculty of Psychology and Education of the UD, where she teaches several subjects related to neuropsychology, neuroanatomy, neuroimaging, as well as inferential statistics.
