Principal Investigator of the research group “Neuropsychology of severe mental disorders” (Type A-Excellence by the Basque Government).

PhD in Neuropsychology. Specialist in Clinical Psychology by the Spanish Ministry of Science and by the American Psychological Association (USA). Specialized in Neuropsychology by Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions and additional training at Oxford University. Postdoctoral specialization in Neurosciences. Diploma in Research Design and Methodology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Elected member of the International Society of Neuropsychology. South-European representative of the International Society of Neuropsychology. Founder and President of the Basque-Navarre Society of Neuropsychology. Member of the Board of the Federation of Spanish Neuropsychology Associations. Director of a Research team founded in 2014 and completed by 21 senior and junior researchers. Principal Investigator of several FIS – Health projects and collaborator / advisor of several international projects in neuropsychology. She has 3 tranches recognized by the National Evaluator of Research Activity Committee (Comisión Nacional Evaluadora de la Actividad Investigadora, CNEAI). Researcher at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions (USA) – Division of Medical Psychology. She has published more than 100 scientific articles in indexed journals, 21 books, 41 book chapters. She is an invited reviewer for more than 20 international scientific journals in the field of neuropsychology and neurosciences.
