The team has participated in the International Day for Women and Girls in Science. The February 11 initiative has promoted on its website (11defebrero.org) the meeting between educational centres that request a talk and scientists that are interested in disseminating their work for this purpose. These talks have been given during the first fortnight of February and aim to help make visible the work of women scientists, create female roles in the field of science and engineering and promote practices that promote gender equality in science.
For all these reasons, several scientists from the Neuropsychology of Mental and Severe Neurological Disorders team of the University of Deusto will attend different schools in the province of Bizkaia, Araba and Cantabria to share with their students the steps they have taken in their scientific careers and the work they carry out.
